It's the Weekend! - 34 DTD (Days 'til Defense)

Good morning, all! It's a beautiful, hot and toasty Saturday morning. I'm being a rebel and working from home for right now. I'm in a comfy armchair in the living room, using a lap desk to stabilize my laptop.

I'm pretty impressed that it's only 10am and I'm ready to be productive over here. Usually, weekends take forever for me to be ready to rock and roll. Today, I'm on it. I tried to do the calendar blocking thing to help me stay motivated, and so far it's been helpful.

Once I got up, I had some bible time. Now, I'm about to do the work I scheduled last night. Granted, I'm running about 2 hours behind schedule; optimistic Beccah said she'd be getting up at 6am. That clearly didn't happen, so I adjusted the calendar so that I can still accomplish my goals.

My beautiful calendar for yesterday and today.

Goals

Today, I will...
  1. Make progress on writing up the cases for showing we have a type DA bimodule.
  2. If time, resolve the math part of the homotopy lemma.
  3. Make 1 image.

Reflection

10:17 - I now remember why I don't work in the living room. My husband is narrating him replacing the furnace filter. It's hilarious and distracting.

Sunday, 16:43 - I got basically no work done yesterday, but today I was able to go to my office in the library and bang out one of the four parts of Goal 1. It took 2 hours, partly because I had to recreate some notes, and partly because my attention span lacks quality. Ah, well. I'll pick it up tomorrow and finish it, while I make a list of things I need to do.
